At Heath, we are proud to offer flexible teacher-led nursery sessions to parents.  Parents can choose to spread their 15 universal funded hours over 5 morning or 5 afternoon sessions, or to have a combination of whole days with morning or afternoon sessions.    For working parents, we also offer the 30 hours funded sessions.

We are lucky to have a large Early Years garden that includes a marked course for our newly purchased bikes and trikes, a range of adventure play equipment and a wildlife and growing area that is currently in development.  We also have extensive grounds that include a dedicated Forest Schools area and a separate wildlife area featuring a pond with a dipping platform.  We are also very proud of our school garden that includes an orchard, allotment and an enclosure for our chickens and rabbits.

For those who require childcare outside of the school day, our popular school-led before and after school club, ‘Jigsaw’, is available.  There are also a number of reputable child minders in our area.

We warmly invite parents of children who will be starting Nursery in September 2020 to come in and see our Nursery in action at a time convenient to you . If you would like your child to start at our Nursery before September, we also currently have a few places still available. You can book a tour by calling the school office on 01473 622806.  In the meantime, you can have a look at our page for prospective parents to view our digital prospectus and have a virtual tour of the school.  We look forward to meeting you soon.
